## Read the story

What is 5 times 8? There is a trick for that.

First we do 10 times 8. That's 80.

And 5 is half of 10. So we take half of 80. That's 40.

**What is 5 times 6?**

## Answer and working

Correct! 10 times 6 is 60, and half of that is 30.

`5 × 6 = 30`
