Theo walks to school. The way is 1 kilometer and 200 meters long.

One kilometer is 1000 meters. So the way is 1200 meters long.

There and back, the way is twice as long: 1200 times 2 is 2400 meters.

**Lena's way to school is 2 km 300 m long. How many meters does she walk there and back?**

## Answer and working

Correct! 2 kilometers and 300 meters is 2300 meters. 2300 times 2 is 4600 meters.
