Welcome to MathApex! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the MathApex mobile application. By using our app, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using MathApex, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the app.
2. Use of the App
MathApex is designed to help children learn mathematics. You agree to:
- Use the app only for its intended educational purpose
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Not use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Supervise children’s use of the app as appropriate
3. Parental Consent
If you are a parent or guardian, you are responsible for monitoring and supervising your child’s use of MathApex. The parent dashboard provides tools to manage your child’s learning experience.
4. Educational Content
The mathematical content and educational materials in MathApex are provided for informational and educational purposes. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranties about the completeness or accuracy of the content.
5. User-Generated Content
AI functionality is not active in the currently released app. If custom quizzes or worksheet scanning are available, you retain ownership of content you create. Any future AI content processing would require updated product and privacy information before activation.
6. Third-Party Services
AI-related services such as Google Vision API or OpenAI are not active in the currently released product. If a future feature uses a third-party service, its use and applicable privacy information will be disclosed before activation. Third-party services have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of MathApex, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, are the property of MathApex and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
MathApex is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MathApex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the app.
10. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
11. Updates and Modifications
We reserve the right to modify the app and these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via the contact information you provide.
12. Termination
You may stop using MathApex at any time by uninstalling the app from your device. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the app for violations of these Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
