Are MathApex and Matheule free?
Yes. Both apps are free to download and use. MathApex Pro is an optional one-time purchase with no subscription. Matheule Pro comes as a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time purchase; the placement test, one “Today for you” round a day, every topic to try and the first levels of each game are free.
Which app is right for my child?
If your child mainly needs regular practice and fun, choose MathApex. If it needs explanations and help understanding, choose Matheule. The two work well together.
Do we need an account?
No. Both apps start without an account or email address. Progress is stored on the device; in MathApex, parents switch rankings and duels on themselves.
Which devices do the apps run on?
MathApex is available for iPhone, iPad and Android. Matheule runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or later.
Is Matheule available in English?
Not yet. Matheule is a German-language app for the German primary curriculum. MathApex is available in eight languages, including English.
