Division undoes grouping

If 4 equal groups each hold 6 counters, there are 24 counters altogether. The inverse question is 24 ÷ 4 = 6: how many counters belong in each group? You can check with 4 × 6 = 24.

What this practice includes

The first round focuses on exact division within 100. Every dividend is built from a divisor from 2 to 10 and a whole-number quotient from 1 to 10. There are no remainders or decimal answers. Use a times-table fact to check each response.
