Multiplication task sheets
Equal groups with the farmyard stories: muffins in rows, baskets with the same number of strawberries – with the question from the video, five more tasks, a brain teaser and the answers.
Multiplication
What do the sheets practise?
Multiplication as equal groups: counting in rows, repeated addition, the times tables and swapping the factors. The pictures show the groups, so the number sentence can be read off.
Tip for home
Ask your child to say the multiplication out loud before writing it: “four groups of three”. The first task is the video question; the answers are on page two.
